Stockholm

The train into Sweden was stunning. So much snow! Customs were very strict and searched the train top to bottom…We were really lucky with the weather but it was cold. My shoes didn’t cut it unfortunately and my toes were numb for a while.

We really just enjoyed the scenery in Stockholm. We walked through Old Town, strolled around the waterfront, through the city and lots of parks. There was an incredible amount of snow which made things slow and very slippery. It also makes you really thankful for cafes with coffee and hot chocolate.

The school kids, either out on trips or for play, blew my mind. It’s just too cold to function so their teachers’ have their work cut out for them.. and their gorgeous clothing, they look like giant mallowpuffs.. so gorgeous.

It is pitch black by 4pm. It’s strange, the city still buzzing and employees still in the office when it feels like midnight.
